At Coastal Cocoa we love caramels, but we also love fruity chocolates. So we decided to combine them. Our bitter orange caramels use Seville oranges, giving them a marmalade like taste that blends perfectly with our caramel and our 55% Belgian dark chocolate. These pack quite a punch, but if you like your flavour strong like we do, we think you will appreciate them. And as for the shape, what could be more classic that a caramel cup?
The caramel in the background was made on a course with William Curley, the orange was somewhat lower grade, coming from a large supermarket chain. It took a while to work out the right position for the chocolates in this shot but other than that it all came together quite easily.
