This February I am releasing three limited edition micro batch flavours for Valentine’s Day.

A great romantic once said “I love you more than cake”. What I want to know is “what type of cake?”. If we are talking about carrot cake, then I love 95% of the population more than cake. But if you are talking about the mighty bakewell, then the list of names gets very short indeed. This chocolate is inspired by everyone’s favourite Derbyshire treat. A layer of cherry pate de fruit is topped by a disc of marzipan, enrobed in dark chocolate, and what’s that on top… of course it is the most romantic of sweeties, a Love Heart.

Ingredients

Dark Chocolate contains minimum 55% cocoa solids (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soya lecithin, vanilla), Cherry Pate de Fruit (cherry puree, sugar, glucose syrup, pectin, tartaric acid), Marzipan (almonds, sugar, glucose syrup), Love Hearts (sugar, acidity regulators: malic acid, tartaric acid stearic acid, sodium bicarbonate, modified starch, magnesium stearate, anti-caking agent: magnesium carbonate flavourings, colours: anthocyanin, beetroot red, copper chlorophyllin, curcumin, lutein, paprika.)
