At the end of June I'm off to see Iron Maiden for the first time.. and I'm very excited about it! So excited that I decided our June limited edition flavour had to be a tribute to the mighty Maiden. Since they have launched a range of beers, and I've never made a beer truffle before, it seemed like an obvious choice to make a chocolate based on one of their beverages. I have used their Trooper beer, which was the first one they brought out. It is paired with 55% Belgian dark chocolate in these delicious choccies. They are shaped into a spiky design, for some reason it just seemed appropriate!
